The engineering origins of Shibaura Machine can be traced back more than a century to Shibaura Engineering Works Co., established in 1875. Through the many subsequent decades we have continued to grow and evolve, through challenge and adversity, into a premier global manufacturer of a wide variety of innovative, precise, supremely reliable machinery.
About Us
Shibaura Machine was among the first companies in the world to establish mechatronics-oriented production systems. Continuous research and development – always searching for a better way – has enabled us to take advantage of our own advanced precision technologies and sophisticated electronics experience and use them to improve the machines we build for our customers
The corporate mission of Shibaura Machine is to continue to evolve, through the closest cooperation with our customers, into a value co-creating manufacturer, jointly creating value based on our collective strengths as a machine builder.
As such we will design and build industrial machines and solutions which provide optimum productivity and profitability for our customers and provide a superior level of service and support, enabling our customers to maximize the return on their investment. In pursuit of this goal we will always endeavor to; conduct our business activities in a responsible and respectful manner, contribute to the industrial foundation, and help create a high-quality society by continually developing innovative technologies focused on mechanics, electronics and systems.
